CNN sort of prides itself on airing both sides of every issue even when only one side is real. Perhaps that habit made the oil presidency more palatable. Now they seem to feel that their viewers deserve to see both sides of the Polluted Gulf of Mexico story, so after discussing in broad, remote, terms, the effect of the pollution and airing a few photos of soiled birds they offer up the other side; a montage of pristine, un-oiled, wildlife to compensate for the reality they seem to feel they overemphasized. |
